Q uando l'Eterno vide che si erano umiliati, la parola dell'Eterno fu rivolta a Scemaiah, dicendo: «Poiché essi si sono umiliati, io non li distruggerò, ma concederò loro fra poco liberazione e la mia ira non si riverserà su Gerusalemme per mezzo di Scishak.

When Yahweh saw that they humbled themselves, Yahweh’s word came to Shemaiah, saying, “They have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them; but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.
