B ath-Sceba si recò dunque dal re Salomone per parlargli in favore di Adonijah. Il re si alzò per andarle incontro, si inchinò davanti a lei, poi si pose a sedere sul suo trono e fece mettere un trono per la madre del re, ed ella si sedette alla sua destra.

So Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah. The king rose to meet her, bowed to her, sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set at his right hand for her, the king’s mother.
