P oi Davide costruí in quel luogo un altare all'Eterno e offrí olocausti e sacrifici di ringraziamento. Cosí l'Eterno diede ascolto alla preghiera fatta per il paese e la calamità fu allontanata dal popolo d'Israele.

and David buildeth there an altar to Jehovah, and causeth to ascend burnt-offerings and peace-offerings, and Jehovah is entreated for the land, and the plague is restrained from Israel.
