E l'Eterno DIO formò dalla terra tutti gli animali dei campi e tutti gli uccelli dei cieli e li condusse dall'uomo per vedere come li avrebbe chiamati; e in qualunque modo l'uomo avesse chiamato ogni essere vivente, quello doveva essere il suo nome.

Out of the ground Yahweh God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature became its name.
