P orque mío es todo primogénito; el día en que herí a todos los primogénitos en la tierra de Egipto, consagré para mí a todos los primogénitos en Israel, desde el hombre hasta el animal. Míos serán; yo soy el Señor.

for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am Yahweh.”
