E ntonces el rey engrandeció a Daniel y le dio muchos y espléndidos regalos, y le hizo gobernador sobre toda la provincia de Babilonia y jefe supremo sobre todos los sabios de Babilonia.

Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts; and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon.
