Éxodo 32:1 ~ Exodus 32:1

C uando el pueblo vio que Moisés tardaba en bajar del monte, la gente se congregó alrededor de Aarón, y le dijeron: Levántate, haznos un dios que vaya delante de nosotros; en cuanto a este Moisés, el hombre que nos sacó de la tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le haya acontecido.

And the people see that Moses is delaying to come down from the mount, and the people assemble against Aaron, and say unto him, `Rise, make for us gods who go before us, for this Moses -- the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt -- we have not known what hath happened to him.'
