Y en cuanto al pueblo que quedó en la tierra de Judá, al que Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, había dejado, puso sobre ellos a Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Safán.

And the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left behind, over them he appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan.
