D avid le tomó mil setecientos hombres de a caballo y veinte mil soldados de a pie; David desjarretó los caballos de los carros, pero dejó suficientes de ellos para cien carros.

David took from him one thousand seven hundred horsemen and twenty thousand footmen. David hamstrung all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for one hundred chariots.
