A l ver los hijos de Amón que se habían hecho odiosos a David, los hijos de Amón mandaron a tomar a sueldo a los arameos de Bet-rehob y a los arameos de Soba, veinte mil soldados de a pie, y del rey de Maaca mil hombres, y de Is-tob doce mil hombres.

And when the children of Ammon saw that they stank before David, the children of Ammon sent and hired the Syrians of Bethrehob and the Syrians of Zoba, twenty thousand footmen, and of king Maacah a thousand men, and of Ishtob twelve thousand men.
