A nd they built altars unto Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I did not command them, neither did it come into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

und haben die Höhen des Baal gebaut im Tal Ben-Hinnom, daß sie ihre Söhne und Töchter dem Moloch verbrennten, davon ich ihnen nichts befohlen habe und ist mir nie in den Sinn gekommen, daß sie solche Greuel tun sollten, damit sie Juda also zu Sünden brächten.
