T he sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD, and he slew him.

Fiii lui Iuda au fost: Er, Onan şi Şela; aceştia i s-au născut din fiica canaanitului Şua. Er, întâiul născut al lui Iuda, era rău înaintea Domnului, astfel că El l-a omorât.
