A nd the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he and slew them with the sword without my father David knowing of it: Abner, the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa, the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.

El Señor hará volver su sangre sobre su propia cabeza, porque él arremetió contra dos hombres más justos y mejores que él y los mató a espada sin que mi padre David lo supiera: a Abner, hijo de Ner, comandante del ejército de Israel, y a Amasa, hijo de Jeter, comandante del ejército de Judá.
