T hen said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David; for I will no more do thee harm, because my life was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.

Y Saúl dijo: He pecado. Vuelve, David, hijo mío, porque no volveré a hacerte daño pues mi vida fue muy estimada en tus ojos hoy. He aquí, he actuado neciamente y he cometido un grave error.
