b ut ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saveth you out of all your calamities and your distresses; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before Jehovah by your tribes, and by your thousands.

Pero vosotros habéis rechazado hoy a vuestro Dios, que os libra de todas vuestras calamidades y vuestras angustias, y habéis dicho: “No, sino pon un rey sobre nosotros.” Ahora pues, presentaos delante del Señor por vuestras tribus y por vuestras familias.
