Ezra 9:7 ~ Esdras 9:7

S ince the days of our fathers we have been exceeding guilty unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to plunder, and to confusion of face, as it is this day.

Desde los días de nuestros padres hasta el día de hoy hemos estado bajo gran culpa, y a causa de nuestras iniquidades, nosotros, nuestros reyes y nuestros sacerdotes hemos sido entregados en mano de los reyes de estas tierras, a la espada, al cautiverio, al saqueo y a la vergüenza pública, como en este día.
