I f evil come upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house, and before thee, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, and thou wilt hear and save.

"Se dovesse venire su di noi una calamità, la spada, il giudizio oppure la peste o la carestia, noi ci presenteremo davanti a questo tempio e davanti a te (poiché il tuo nome è in questo tempio) noi grideremo a te dalla nostra avversità e tu ci ascolterai e ci verrai in aiuto".
