N ow therefore as Jehovah liveth, who hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath made me a house, as he promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death this day.

Prandaj, tani, ashtu siç është e vërtetë që rron Zoti, i cili më ka caktuar, ka vendosur të ulem në fronin e atit tim David dhe më ka themeluar një shtëpi ashtu siç kishte premtuar, sot Adonijahu do të ekzekutohet!".
