S o he arose and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

Und er machte sich auf und ging gen Zarpath. Und da er kam an das Tor der Stadt, siehe, da war eine Witwe und las Holz auf. Und er rief ihr und sprach: Hole mir ein wenig Wasser im Gefäß, daß ich trinke!
