i n that thou lovest them that hate thee, and hatest them that love thee. For thou hast declared this day, that princes and servants are nought unto thee: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.

al amar a aquéllos que lo odian y al odiar a aquéllos que lo aman. Pues hoy ha demostrado que príncipes y siervos no son nada para usted; porque ahora en este día sé que si Absalón estuviera vivo y todos nosotros hoy estuviéramos muertos, entonces usted estaría complacido.
