A nd Joab said unto the man that told him, And, behold, thou sawest it, and why didst thou not smite him there to the ground? and I would have given thee ten pieces of silver, and a girdle.

Und Joab sprach zu dem Mann, der's ihm hatte angesagt: Siehe, sahst du das, warum schlugst du ihn nicht daselbst zur Erde? so wollte ich dir von meinetwegen zehn Silberlinge und einen Gürtel gegeben haben.
