J u përgjërohem, o bija të Jeruzalemit, për gazelat dhe sutat fushave, mos e ngacmoni dhe mos e zgjoni dashurinë time, deri sa kështu t’i pëlqejë

I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, or by the hinds of the field, that you not stir up, nor awaken love, until it so desires.
