F araoni dërgoi njerëz për të parë, dhe ja asnjë kokë bagëtie e Izraelitëve s’kishte ngordhur. Por zemra e Faraonit u fortësua dhe ai nuk e la popullin të shkojë.

Pharaoh sent to find out, and behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was hardened and he did not let the people go.
