N dërkaq Moisiu po kulloste kopenë e Jethros, vjehrrit të tij dhe prift i Madianit; ai e çoi kopenë matanë shkretëtirës dhe arriti në malin e Perëndisë, në Horeb.

Now Moses was taking care of the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the religious leader of Midian. He led the flock to the west side of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
