P randaj ndodhi që në mesnatë Zoti goditi tërë të parëlindurit në vendin e Egjiptit, që nga i parëlinduri i Faraonit që rrinte mbi fronin e tij, deri te i parëlinduri i të burgosurit që ishte në burg, si dhe çdo pjellë e parë e bagëtive.

At midnight, Yahweh struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of livestock.
