P or prifti Jehojada urdhëroi komandantët e qindshëve, që komandonin ushtrinë, dhe u tha atyre: "Nxirreni jashtë nga rreshtat dhe kushdo që i shkon pas të vritet me shpatë!". Në fakt prifti kishte thënë: "Mos lejoni që ajo të vritet në shtëpinë e Zotit".

Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds who were set over the army, and said to them, “Bring her out between the ranks. Kill anyone who follows her with the sword.” For the priest said, “Don’t let her be slain in Yahweh’s house.”
