K ështu Benajahu hyri në tabernakullin e Zotit dhe i tha Joabit: "Dil jashtë!". Ai u përgjigj: "Jo, dua të vdes këtu!". Benajahu ia njoftoi ngjarjen mbretit, duke thënë: "Kështu foli Joabi dhe kështu m’u përgjigj".

Benaiah came to Yahweh’s Tent, and said to him, “Thus says the king, ‘Come out!’” He said, “No; but I will die here.” Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, “Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me.”
