S hko, hyr te mbreti David dhe i thuaj: "O mbret, o imzot, a nuk i je betuar vallë shërbëtores sate duke thënë: Biri yt Salomoni ka për të mbretëruar pas meje dhe do të ulet mbi fronin tim? Pse, pra, u bë mbret Adonijahu?".

Go in to king David, and tell him, ‘Didn’t you, my lord, king, swear to your servant, saying, “Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne?” Why then does Adonijah reign?’
