s epse ti dashuron ata që të urrejnë dhe urren ata që të duan; sot ke treguar qartë që komandantët dhe ushtarët nuk kanë asnjë vlerë për ty; dhe tani kuptoj se, po të ishte gjallë Absalomi dhe ne të ishim këtë ditë të tërë të vdekur, atëherë do të ishe i kënaqur.

in that you love those who hate you, and hate those who love you. For you have declared today, that princes and servants are nothing to you. For today I perceive that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died today, then it would have pleased you well.
