F or ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

Poiché voi vi accingete a passare il Giordano per andare a prendere possesso del paese, che il Signore, il vostro Dio, vi dà; voi lo possederete e vi abiterete.
