P ermanecei em mim, e eu permanecerei em vós; como a vara de si mesma não pode dar fruto, se não permanecer na videira, assim também vós, se não permanecerdes em mim.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.
