E ntão fui ter com os governadores dalém do Rio, e lhes entreguei as cartas do rei. Ora, o rei tinha enviado comigo oficiais do exército e cavaleiros.

Then I came to the governors beyond the River, and gave them the king’s letters. Now the king had sent with me captains of the army and horsemen.
