E eles, abandonando a casa do Senhor, Deus de seus pais, serviram aos aserins e aos ídolos; de sorte que veio grande ira sobre Judá e Jerusalém por causa desta sua culpa.

They abandoned the house of Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and served the Asherah poles and the idols; and wrath came on Judah and Jerusalem for this their guiltiness.
