I de, consultai ao Senhor por mim, e pelo povo, e por todo o Judá, acerca das palavras deste livro que se achou; porque grande é o furor do Senhor, que se acendeu contra nós, porquanto nossos pais não deram ouvidos

`Go, seek Jehovah for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found, for great the fury of Jehovah that is kindled against us, because that our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according to all that is written for us.'
