C húa thấy lòng người trung thành tại trước mặt Chúa, và Chúa lập giao ước với người, đặng ban cho dòng dõi người xứ của dân Ca-na-an, dân Hê-tít, dân A-mô-rít, dân Phê-rê-sít, dân Giê-bu-sít, và dân Ghi-rê-ga-sít; Chúa có làm ứng nghiệm lời của Chúa, vì Chúa là công bình.

and found his heart faithful before you, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it to his offspring, and have performed your words; for you are righteous.
