C aricate, o cavalli, e avanzate furiosamente, o carri; si facciano avanti gli uomini prodi, quei di Etiopia e di Putt che portano lo scudo e quei di Lud che maneggiano e tendono l'arco.

Go up, ye horses, and drive furiously, ye chariots; and let the mighty men go forth: Cush and Phut that handle the shield, and the Ludim that handle the bow bend it.
