ﺃﺧﺒﺎﺭ ﺍﻷﻳﺎﻡ ﺍﻷ 5:1 ~ 1 Chronicles 5:1

أ بْناءُ رَأُوبَيْنَ بِكْرِ إسْرائِيلَ. كانَ البِكْرَ فِعلاً، لَكِنَّهُ عاشَرَ زَوْجَةَ أبِيهِ، فَنُقِلَتْ حُقُوقُهُ كَبِكْرٍ إلَى أبْناءِ يُوسُفَ ابْنِ إسْرائِيلَ. أمّا رَأُوبَيْنُ فَلَمْ يُسَجَّلْ فِي سِجِلِّ الأنسابِ بِكْراً.

Reuben was the first-born son of Israel but because he sinned against his father’s marriage bed, his birth-right was given to the sons of Joseph the son of Israel. Reuben is not written down in the family names by his birth-right.
