P astaj bijtë e Izraelit filluan përsëri të bëjnë atë që është e keqe për sytë e Zotit dhe u shërbyen Baalit dhe Ashtarothit, perëndive të Sirisë, perëndive të Sidonit, perëndive të Moabit, perëndive të bijve të Amonit dhe perëndive të Filistejve; e braktisën Zotin dhe nuk i shërbyen më.

The children of Israel again did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, and served the Baals, the Ashtaroth, the gods of Syria, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines. They abandoned Yahweh, and didn’t serve him.
