1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:

2 O n the first day of the first month shalt thou rear up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.

«Il primo giorno del primo mese erigerai il tabernacolo, la tenda di convegno.

3 A nd thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and thou shalt screen the ark with the veil.

Vi porrai l’arca della testimonianza e stenderai il velo davanti all’arca.

4 A nd thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

Vi porterai dentro la tavola, e disporrai in ordine le cose che vi sono sopra; vi porterai pure il candelabro e accenderai le sue lampade.

5 A nd thou shalt set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

Porrai l’altare d’oro per l’incenso davanti all’arca della testimonianza e metterai la portiera all’ingresso del tabernacolo.

6 A nd thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.

Porrai l’altare degli olocausti davanti all’ingresso del tabernacolo, della tenda di convegno.

7 A nd thou shalt set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

Metterai la conca fra la tenda di convegno e l’altare, e vi metterai dentro dell’acqua.

8 A nd thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.

Disporrai il cortile tutto intorno e attaccherai la portiera all’ingresso del cortile.

9 A nd thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the furniture thereof: and it shall be holy.

Poi prenderai l’olio dell’unzione e ungerai il tabernacolo e tutto ciò che vi è dentro, lo consacrerai con tutti i suoi utensili e sarà santo.

10 A nd thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar shall be most holy.

Ungerai pure l’altare degli olocausti e tutti i suoi utensili, consacrerai l’altare, e l’altare sarà santissimo.

11 A nd thou shalt anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.

Ungerai anche la conca con la sua base e la consacrerai.

12 A nd thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water.

Poi farai accostare Aaronne e i suoi figli all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, e li laverai con acqua.

13 A nd thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments; and thou shalt anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Rivestirai Aaronne dei paramenti sacri, lo ungerai e lo consacrerai, perché mi serva come sacerdote.

14 A nd thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them;

Farai pure avvicinare i suoi figli, li rivestirai di tuniche

15 a nd thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: and their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

e li ungerai come avrai unto il loro padre, perché mi servano come sacerdoti; e la loro unzione conferirà loro un sacerdozio perenne, di generazione in generazione».

16 T hus did Moses: according to all that Jehovah commanded him, so did he.

Mosè fece così; fece interamente come il Signore gli aveva ordinato.

17 A nd it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

Il primo giorno del primo mese del secondo anno, il tabernacolo fu eretto.

18 A nd Moses reared up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up its pillars.

Mosè eresse il tabernacolo, ne pose le basi, ne collocò le assi, ne mise le traverse e ne rizzò le colonne.

19 A nd he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Stese la tenda sul tabernacolo e sopra la tenda pose la coperta di essa, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

20 A nd he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy-seat above upon the ark:

Poi prese la Testimonianza e la pose dentro l’arca, mise le stanghe all’arca e collocò il propiziatorio sull’arca;

21 a nd he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

portò l’arca nel tabernacolo, sospese il velo di separazione e con esso coprì l’arca della testimonianza, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

22 A nd he put the table in the tent of meeting, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the veil.

Pose pure la tavola nella tenda di convegno, dal lato settentrionale del tabernacolo, fuori dal velo.

23 A nd he set the bread in order upon it before Jehovah; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Vi dispose sopra in ordine il pane, davanti al Signore, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

24 A nd he put the candlestick in the tent of meeting, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

Poi mise il candelabro nella tenda di convegno, di fronte alla tavola, dal lato meridionale del tabernacolo;

25 A nd he lighted the lamps before Jehovah; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

accese le lampade davanti al Signore, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

26 A nd he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil:

Poi mise l’altare d’oro nella tenda di convegno, davanti al velo,

27 a nd he burnt thereon incense of sweet spices; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

e vi bruciò sopra l’incenso aromatico, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

28 A nd he put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

Mise pure la portiera all’ingresso del tabernacolo.

29 A nd he set the altar of burnt-offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meal-offering; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Poi collocò l’altare degli olocausti all’ingresso del tabernacolo, della tenda di convegno e vi offrì, sopra, l’olocausto e l’oblazione, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

30 A nd he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water therein, wherewith to wash.

Pose la conca fra la tenda di convegno e l’altare, e vi pose dentro dell’acqua per le abluzioni.

31 A nd Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat;

Mosè, Aaronne e i suoi figli, con quell’acqua, si lavarono le mani e i piedi;

32 w hen they went into the tent of meeting, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

quando entravano nella tenda di convegno e quando si avvicinavano all’altare, si lavavano, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

33 A nd he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

Eresse pure il recinto intorno al tabernacolo e all’altare e sospese la cortina all’ingresso del cortile. Così Mosè completò l’opera. La gloria del Signore sul tabernacolo

34 T hen the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

Allora la nuvola coprì la tenda di convegno, e la gloria del Signore riempì il tabernacolo.

35 A nd Moses was not able to enter into the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

E Mosè non potè entrare nella tenda di convegno perché la nuvola si era posata sopra, e la gloria del Signore riempiva il tabernacolo.

36 A nd when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys:

Durante tutti i loro viaggi, quando la nuvola si alzava dal tabernacolo, i figli d’Israele partivano;

37 b ut if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

ma se la nuvola non si alzava, non partivano fino al giorno in cui si alzava.

38 F or the cloud of Jehovah was upon the tabernacle by day, and there was fire therein by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

La nuvola del Signore infatti stava sul tabernacolo di giorno; e di notte vi stava un fuoco visibile a tutta la casa d’Israele durante tutti i loro viaggi.
